Sempu Island, a naturally preserved island with untouched wildlife
This island is 30 km away from Malang, East Java. 10 minutes ride from Sendang Biru, a fishermen village. Very beautiful island surrounded by sea. To get to the beach takes an hour walk through the pledge. The water is green-blue, with lots of corals, reefs, and antique fish. Highlights - to do trekking into the rain forest around preservation area - to enjoy the dramatic sunset and sunrise - to enjoy the beautiful Segara Anakan blue lagoon

Surabaya, Indonesia -› Sempu, Indonesia -› ...
Many sides of Sempu weren’t explored yet. Some friend did trekking to 2-3 other beaches (they said those were beautiful even more difficult to reach). But I did enjoy being still in the east side. It was rocky area with strong winds, sound of splashing waves crashing the rocks, forceful - tremendous sea ahead, and sensation of being so small and fragile; scared and thankful I was at the same time. Camping in Sempu was quite easy, if you need not to pee, bath, “etc” for 1-2 day...

This was the trip about 3 month ago . Beginning with the curiousity about the place as beautiful as Lagoon's Phi phi island in Leonardo di Caprio's movie "The Beach" but place here in Indonesia rather than Thailand there.
It took hours to drive, spending the night in someone elses home, across the calm sea by boat and trekking for 1 hour (Ouch, that's axhausting) and finallly there's the lagoon with white sand and sea water blowing from a rock hole. C'est magnifique!!!
