Base of Confederate Lines Jul 11, 2012
Seminary Ridge formed the base of the Confederate line during the three day battle in Gettysburg. This was one of our stops during our guided tour of the Gettysburg battlefield. The ridge was named after a theological seminary not too far from the ridge.

The ridge is marked by many canons which show the position of the guns of the south. Along the ridge also seats monuments in remembrance of the fallen from states like North Carolina, Mississippi, Florida, Tennessee, Virginia, South Carolina and Arkansas.

PS: Do not leave for tomorrow what you can do today!
