Sella Vacation Guide

Sella surprises the visitor by the great beauty of the surroundings. It appears to be hanging between steep mountains, integrating itself in the landscape, which gives the village a magnificent frame.

The life of the village is vigorous and friendly. Every first week of October Sella, population 633, honours its patron La Divina Aurora. This Fiesta Major lasts 4 days and consists of wine and fireworks and craziness.

The Font Major is located in the "Barranc de Sella", this fount has been used traditionally for supplying water to the municipality, and i´t´s a place of relaxation and recreation by the inhabitants of the locality. Throughout the year the village orchestra provides concerts, occasional events and a focus to the cultural life of its people.

Sella has one of the most important rock climbing zones in Spain, with a lot of high quality limestone rock and hundreds of bolted routes.
