After a good night's sleep in the RV at Brownwood, TX Walmart parking lot, we headed for home.  We did stop to help an adventure cyclist by giving him and the damaged bike (derailleur problem) a lift into Austin.  It was a minor detour for us and today was his final leg on a journey from Flagstaff.  A good deed and diversion for a short time. On Wednesday I ended up playing football on astroturf at a football club in San Telmo, one of the older districts of BA. This was my first attempt at exercise for some time, but I will need to do much more if I´m going to be in good hiking form on the Inca Trail in January. The Triglav mountain is a national symbol for Slovenia. On my last day there in 2007 I decided to see it for myself before heading back to the airport. Although it's near the Austrian border the trip takes less than two hours by car. The trip towards the Slovenian alps is great, especially since there already was some snow on the mountains.
