Segenhoe Inn Luxury Boutique Hotel and B&B Aberdeen Reviews

Our first impression arriving at the guest house was not so good. There was a problem with our booking because of the website we booked with : they forgot to charge us an extra because we were 3 (but we booked a room for 4... !). Well, anyway it was the only hotel we found with vacancies when we looked on the net the day before, so we decided to stay and not to take any risk.
It was a very good decision. Cherie, the owner - and cook - of the B&B, welcomed us very warlmy and made our stay very special.
First, the place by itself is amazing. Cherie took us for a visit straight away and we felt like going to another world.
It is a very old house (well - as she said - for French it does not seem so old but with an Australian point of view it is), built by convicts around 1830. Today, it has all comfort we need, even in a very luxurous way... and with such a special atmosphere ! Staying here with Cherie was a real experience !
We met 2 couples at the tiny bar and spent good time sharing a cocktail champagne with us. We decided to have dinner there, even if it was expensive (75$ each). It is really worth it, food was luscious, the atmosphere was peaceful and romantic... A very quality time !
After dinner, we chilled in the living room, having tea and coffee with jazz music. We could even have access to the Internet by wifi.
Our room was the convict room, with 2 comfortable bunk beds.
