This is another example of a restaurant/coffee shop that has locations in California, where no one really gives it the time of day, yet in Miami this is like one of the coolest places to hang out, whether it's to enjoy a drink, smoke like a chimney in the outdoor area and people watch, or to enjoy a cup of coffee or gelato with a group of friends. Its popularity caught me by surprise- that's for sure!!! This place gets PACKED after 5 o'clock with all kinds of people- everyone from parents and their kids, to tourists from all over the world, to Miami's trendiest fashionistas with their dresses, tan skin and designer purses and sunglasses... the men, of course, in button down shirts, slicked-back hair and white shoes or pants.. some of them are even in white from head to toe.

Lincoln Road is the heart of Miami's fashion scene and Segafredo is the place to be if you're into that scene. Aside from the atmosphere, they actually have great drinks and appetizers. We tried the bellinis (good), the mojitos (great) and the affogato (which was very good- for those of you who aren't familiar with affogatos, they are espresso shots with gelato on top). The appetizers they have include panini sandwiches, pizzas and bruschetta..

It's definitely fun to hang out here, I must admit. Now, whenever I see a Segafredo in the Bay Area, I look at it with different eyes....I mean, who knew it could be so cool?
