Brilliant services, great location Mar 13, 2008
We stayed at the Sefton hotel during our trip to Isle of Man.
We got a package deal from the "Steam Packet Company" which runs ferries to and from the Isle Of Man. It cost us just over £400 for: 1) Ferry from Heysham to Douglas and back (for four persons). 2) Charges to carry our car on the ferry. 3) One night at the Sefton hotel (two twin rooms). 4) Breakfast. Considering everything, I thought this was a very good deal. The Sefton hotel is right on the Douglas Promenade and is a short walk from the Ferry terminal. If you get a sea-facing room, the view is brilliant and you can see a shot of the sunrise that I took from the hotel lounge window. The rooms were excellent and the bathrooms were very large and well maintained. We did not avail room service but service, in general, was prompt and polite. The breakfast was very good, on time and had a lot of options. All in all, a very good hotel for a very good price - a definite recommendation. |
