Seeing Italy at its Best Jul 28, 2008
Bestourofitaly.com gave us the best tour I have ever been on! Our tour guide was beautiful and almost fluent in English! He picked us up from the airport in Rome in a beautiful Mercedes and started giving us a tour of Rome as soon as we were on the road. We booked 4 different tours with this company and they were all amazing. I couldn't imagine seeing Italy any other way. The first tour we did was the Best of Rome tour. We saw everything and learned so much. That night we did the Rome by Night tour. This was my favorite thing I did in Italy. Our tour guide brought us to this very private area that overlooked the entire city and then provided us with some wine! (on the house) It was so intimate and perfect. The following day we did the Vatican Tour. I will warn everyone, do not do the Vatican without a tour, it is huge and you won’t know what you are looking at without an educated tour guide! The following day we took the Florence/Tuscany/ Pisa tour. Bestourofitaly.com set up a private wine tasting for us and chauffeured us around in a beautiful Mercedes so we were comfortable and able to see everything as though we were VIP! The tour was reasonably priced and made our trip so amazing. I loved our tour guide and really appreciated all the extras that besttourofitaly.com provided, like great economical places to eat, tours of private spots that most tour companies wouldn't take you, and best of all it was private, we weren't with 30 other people fighting for the attention of our tour guide!

This was our second trip to Rome together and we spent 4 glorious days running around trying to see the sights we had already seen a year and a half ago but couldn't miss and trying to get our paperwork together for our wedding in Positano.  It was hectic, but we managed to get to the US embassy and get the appropriate authorization from U.S. officials to marry in ItalyRome in the Spring

We took a bus to "The fountain of four rivers" however it was all boarded up and you couldn't see it because they were doing construction on it. That was another thing I found in Italy a lot of the things you wanted to see were either fully blocked or partially block for repair. Which I guess you should expect seeing how old most… Day 2 in Rome

A few of us were planning to stay an extra night so we'd have more time to see everything.  As it turned out, we didn't need to do that because we fit everything into three days.  I guess going on that whirl-wind of a tour before Italy really prepared us to see cities in only three days time… When in Rome...

But the thing that's most important is that I got inlove with the city. I've been in many places, not a lot... but a few which are great... I've met people and met cultures. But definetively the one that gain my heart, was Italy. Is a must see place... A place where the time don't goes by. … Eternal city.

seeing we were in Italy , and see if the oil would make things so slick they would just slide off, but then I looked again and noted several people, other nice carriages and horses and thought better of that.   I had to use an eye dropper… The Colosseum - Rome
