Convenince and affordable Hotel Oct 28, 2011
I stayed Sedona Hotel, Yangon, Myanmar in last September 2011 (from 27/09/11 to 01/10/11) for my business trip and this is my third time stayed at this hotel. Hotel provide pick up service from Yangon International Airport to hotel which cost USD 20/trip by Toyota Land Cruiser. After checked-in, I got my room at 4th floor and fully equipment with all the necessaries equipment. I got the city view room where can see the famous Shwedagon pagoda at night and Inya lake. After dropped off our luggage in the room, we proceed to conference room located at level 2 for next day seminar event. The staff are very friendly and help us during our seminar and stay. Lobby area is huge and nicely decorated; and all the staff are friendly and always put smiles on their face.. we have tried the Orzo Italian restaurant which served nice food, wine and good environment with reasonable price. The Paddy O'Malley's bar which is located at baement level, has live music band and mostly provide you English songs; by Filipino singers. The bar is not really crowded like last trip and it might be due to entrance fee for local visitors but hotel guest are free to enter.

From the hotel to city can easily access by taxi which fare are very cheap. You can have hotel transport by hourly and it cost you USD 20/hr for your information.

Our level have security guards at night (not sure other level have or not) who is really friendly. A nice and convenience hotel where I would like to stay again if the room charge is cheaper thean this trip..

I always appreciate a good hotel when on a business trip, especially if I am there for a few days to a week attending a seminar or congress. It looks nice!
