Eating around Seattle is really becoming a treat fro me. Living south of the city, I don’t get many opportunities to get into Seattle to eat out, but when I do, I stop at some of my favorite eateries. Not only does Seattle get my votes, but the DuPont area really boast some great little upscale coffee shops and hang outs. As with my other blogs, I will just a quick overview and add all of the details later.
I tend to hang out at the Forza for my coffee where I get free internet acc…

Sea-Tac Airport - 7:15 amWe're here in Seattle - still alive! The flight was relaxing and uneventful. We have an hour layover here in Seattle. There are these annoying "art" water fountains here . . . when you push the water button it makes this really loud "GLUB GLUB GLUB" noise. It's supposed to sound like natural flowing water. Yeah right. Anyway, more when I get to Los Angeles!

Living in the Seattle area for the year of 2006. I skied, kayaked, hiked, biked, and relaxed through good and bad weather. Don't forget the 26 days of straight rain.

Seattle is an amazingly beautiful place to live, visit, or even just passing through. The weather gets really rainy during the winter months but clears up for spring. Summer is the best time to visit Seattle because of the amazing weather and the events that are happening during June through September!

Seattle is a beatiful and nice place to visit, stay and work. Starbucks, Expedia, Amazon and Microsoft set up their head quarters in this area. This give Seattle a new and active source of energy.

This was my last day in Vancouver, WA. I woke early and was dressed when Marty knocked on my door, we had a 3 hour car trip through Washington State to Seattle - Tacoma airport, my flight was due to leave about 6.30pm. It was about 7am the time we left the house, we stopped at Burger King and got a breakfast which was so yummy but looked disgusting, im not really a big fan of BK! It was a rainy day in Washington, (very common apparently!) and i just sat there watching out of the window and sa…

Lydia and I started out North American travels with a weekend in Victoria. The city was magical, all dressed up for Canada Day. We walked along the streets past cute old buildings, each one with character, with painted bears being auctioned for charity. In a second hand bookshop Lydia bought Dr Doolittle for us to share. We went hat shopping, visited Bastion Square and searched for the Bug Museum, before lying down on the grass in front of Parliament House where I read to …

Bumbershoot is a festival full of music and art on Labor Day weekend! I went all three days to see some awesome bands perform! Being on your feet all day long is tiring, but it was totally worth it!
