The Seattle Cheese Festival is held every year in Pike Place Markets in Seattle over a weekend in May. It has free tasting of many different cheeses and other gourmet foods and drinks. It is really just a good reason to visit the Pike Place Markets and feel the throb of Seattle around you, but for true cheese/wine buffs there are seminars and classes as well.
