Complete relaxation with amazing scenery Aug 02, 2014
This is by far the best boat trip I've been on. Micquella got vouchers off the web (Maltese version of Groupon) so the trip only cost us €17 each for the day, if buying from the harbour side at Bugibba I think it was €35 each. We were advised to get to the harbour side at least an hour before departure which was 11am, we got there for around 10.15am and the boat (a Turkish Gulet) was pretty full, but we did manage to get a decent speck at the front of the boat (the rear of the boat is under a canopy.)

It was extremely crowded when we set off and for the first hour or so as we were cruising along the coastline of Malta up to Mellieha heading to Gozo where we were dropping off a number of passengers which did indeed free up enough space for people to be comfortable.

We continued up to Santa Marija Bay on the island of Comino and anchored here for around an hour.

We then continued round to The Blue Lagoon. At this point there was an opportunity to get off the boat and explore the Lagoon or stay with the boat as it made its way back to Gozo to collect the passengers dropped off earlier in the afternoon, it then headed back to the lagoon for another chance to swim or sunbathe (do not head for the beach area as it is far too crowded, head over to the other side of the island - opposite where the boat anchors, plenty of space there.)

We arrived back at Bugibba for around 6.30pm. This trip is a great way to spend relaxing at sea. Take your own snacks but if you wish there are snacks and drinks readily available on boar, sandwiches, burgers, chips - all freshly made to order and not overpriced like the majority of boat trips. A great boat with toilet facilities (very clean) and a wonderful friendly crew who are very attentive and knowledgeable.

Take plenty of sun cream and a hat as there is very little shade on board, and with the sea breeze you don't realise how hot it actually is.

Fabulous day out and would definitely use Seahorse cruises again
