Southampton's Titanic Story Oct 22, 2012
Everybody knows Southampton is famous for the Titanic.

Well, there was a 'Maritime Museum" in Southampton, and a tiny bit of part was telling you about the Titanic. It was a shame on the city and I was very disappointed when I first visited it.

It seems someone else thought the same higher up in the council and the "Titanic Museum" has been moved to a big and beautiful building into the city centre.

There are lots of car parks nearby, which makes life easy, but it's only 5 minutes away from the central train station as well.

Admission prices are average.

The museum shows you photos and gives you explanations. It's interactive, fun filled and interesting. It's also sad an heart breaking at the same time.

I was amazed by the videos, interviews with the survivors and old newspapers.

Unfortunately no photography allowed...

If you visit Southampton, do not miss this museum! Highly recommended!
