quirky place, overpriced food items but offer a prawn & chips that is fantastic! Aug 08, 2015
Sea Pal Cove is fishy, and that’s for sure! Evidently, the business is not just about cooked food. Also, this place is where people bring their fresh catch of the day for cleaning and deboning. Despite that, people don't stop patronizing the restaurant.

The setting is down to earth. A little dingy. It is next to an old pier no longer in used at the Noyo Harbor.

Mind you, this food service is on the expensive side. An order of Prawns & Chips costs $15.00 and only a few pieces. The fried prawns are oily, but scraped the batter and meat is tasty. The cup of margarita (yes served in a plastic cup) is a good pair to flush the taste of oil. The cup of clam chowder is creamy loaded with chunky clams. The cheeseburgers and fries are no frills.

We placed our orders inside the shack before we looked for tables outside. It is not easy to find a table. It seemed a very busy place all the time.

Food orders are brought to the table when ready. Those who prefer an indoor dining, there are two tables inside the shack.

The Pal Cove's Restaurant location is off the main highway. In one of the waterfronts in Noyo Harbor. Access to the restaurant; pass over the harbor along the Noyo Bridge. Turn right on a street next to Chevron Gas Station. Follow the road signs from here to a downhill all the way. Road winding down to the clusters of seafood restaurants and fishing stores.

Due to its location and overpriced food items, I am a bit hesitant to recommend the place. Unless of course, you don't mind the location and or fine with their prices.
parking is not a problem
place and pay orders here

Usually seafood places right by the sea are fairly cheap, unless it's an upscale restaurant which this clearly isn't. Apparently they can get away with it.

I'm not too impressed, but I love the idea of margherita in a plastic cup!
