Bed Bugs! Oct 25, 2008
On first appearances this hotel seemed very nice. Lobby was clean and close to the beach. On the first morning, we woke up and found bed bugs all over the place. We called the manager who laughed and joked about how they don't have bugs in the hotel, that we must have brought them from someplace else, and that sometimes they come in from the outside. They were definitely bed bugs and we also found blood and fecal stains from the bugs on some of the mattresses and blankets. The hotel did not seem to take us or this issue very seriously. They did not give any indication that this was going to be addressed. Watch out!
