The house is less than 50 metres to the crystal clear water and minutes to rock pools (great for snorkeling). You can sit on the white sands, surf the perfect wave or play on the grass overlooking the rock pool. For a small village Currarong has it all! The opportunity to explore beautiful bush tracks leading to secluded coves and awesome cliffs. Well-graded bushwalks lead from the village itself and there are good barbecue facilities, children's playgrounds and outdoor showers at the water¿s edge. Point Perpendicular Lighthouse is nearby as is beautiful Honeymoon Bay. Just Relax If you don¿t feel like cooking in the newly renovated kitchen there are many other options. We love to wander to the general store (2mins) for breakfast. The bacon and egg rolls are great with a well made coffee from Zacs' Place next door. Zacs¿ Place is renowned for its fresh seafood which is owned and operated by our own local fishermen. They also serve pasta and have a range of cakes and icecream. The Merimbula Bistro at the Bowling Club serves great Chinese and Australian dishes and the club has a children¿s disco and bare foot bowls in the holidays. The newsagent has a PO & DVD hire as well as bait & tackle supplies. There is also the bingo at the progress hall.
