Sir Walter Scott Memorial Spire May 24, 2009
Admission is 2.50 GBP, but totally worth it. You have to climb 287 steps to get to the top in a spirally spire that is sure to make you dizzy. It is so windy, but that is part of the fun and gives you magnificant views of Edinburgh city.

At least the delay in Edinburgh center gave me my opportunity to go to the top of the Scott monument which had been closed when I reached it the prior two nights.
Roslyn chapel itself was very nice with its carvings, but overall, I guess I expected more. All the hype from the Da Vinci Code I guess. The canopy should… Roslyn and Laughs |
