Science Fiction Film props and memorabilia Oct 09, 2010
Mark and I, did not pay to go to the museum as we were pressed for time after touring the space needle. We hoever enjoyed the interesting display of art pieces outside of the muesum. I wished rather than hoped I could go inside. This museum houses science fiction props and memorabilia and I believe posters from the beginning of sci-fi movies.

If you are interested in Science fiction movies, this would be like a candy store for you. I should have liked to tour it while I was there. I guess a reason to return to Seattle sometime soon.

For Sci Fi Lovers Sep 06, 2009
I’m not much of a fan of sci fi, but even if I was, this museum would not be worth the entrance fee. However, every first Thursday of the month is a free day at the EMP/SFM. I only recommend checking out the museum on this free day. It consists of about three different rooms displaying books, costumes, and other sci fi paraphernalia. There are interesting things to look at and read about, but it’s definitely not worth paying for. However, it could make for an amusing evening with some friends if you go on the free day. And since you’re already in the building, you might as well check out the EMP, too.

– Live long and prosper.
