Schwartz cafe, Berlin Jun 07, 2011
A charming, dead old cafe, previously popular among gay people, located in the city centre. Very simple interior, (check out their WC's!) extremely polite waiters, european food, good desserts, affordable prices.

Schwarzes Café in Charlottenburg Apr 21, 2011
Well, it says "Café", but it's much more then that. It's an institution right in the heart of the former city-west, it's a bar, it's a restaurant and it's home for so many stranded party-hoppers at 5 o'clock in the morning. Food is good (try the club-sandwichs!), even though it's that cheap. Well it's Charlottenburg, it's a bit more expensive here anyway, so don't think about it. It's worth it.

This is a funky, hip place on the WEST side. Lots of locals love it (me) & it is a great place for drinks before or after a night out. ;) Expect a younger crowd at night. Food is surprisingly good in this place. Great for lunch, brunch or just waking up!
