The "Schwarzer Bär", which means "black bear", has a history of hospitality which stretches back over more than 300 years. A document dating back to 1694 reports that the innkeeper at the time owned a black bear, providing inspiration for the hotel’s name. Last year the hotel underwent extensive renovation work and was newly decorated.
