School of Massage for Health Chiang Mai Reviews
Specialty Courses: Thai Herbal Compress & Tok-Sen Nov 04, 2009
I reviewed on this school in another general segment. I wanted to comment and share my insight on two specialty courses I took that I totally resonated with.
The first course was Thai Herbal Compress which met on a Saturday. We had an introduction of the use of the herbs and how make the herbal balls. After lunch we practice using the compresses it was warm and healing. I didn't realized what I was missing. After the course I sought out places that provided this service.
The second course I took was working with vibration and the energy lines of the body called Tok-Sen (pronounced Tog-Sen). Wooden mallet and wedges are used in two basic techniques.
Both of these techniques can be used alone or in conjunction with Traditional Thai Massage.
If you are a student interested in unique bodywork practices these are well worth checking out.
