 Dining at the Rheinfall - waterfall on the Rhine River Aug 17, 2008
A restaurant at a spectacular location, the Rheinfall - a waterfall on the Rhine. The waterfall is right outside the windows of the restaurant, so you get a super view, although distant, of the waterfall. The Rheinfall is the biggest waterfall by volume in Europe. Nothing like the Niagara Falls, but still impressive.
You need reservations at the restaurant, even on a Monday night. You can also take a boat to the rock in the middle of the waterfall for a special brunch! The ambiance of the restaurant is very good, large glass windows looking out at the river and waterfall. The food and wine was also good, not probably worth the price, but the combination with the view can not be found elsewhere.  Part of the Black Sea, Turkey, Athens travel blog |
