The Schipbreuk en Jutters museum Flora, (ship wrack- and beach combers museum) is a funny museum on Texel.

You fall from one surprise in the other as sometimes the most solid objects pass in review, this is the absolutely entertaining museum of the island

In this museum you can see what is found on the beach.

You almost get yourself tend to find things on the beach.

The practice of beachcombing was born out of pure necessity, because he island's inhabitants were poor and beachcombing was a good way of acquiring free firewood and other useful items.

When you are on Texel, you have to see this funny museum.

A museum that shows what you can find on the beach. Fun to walk around for while. Exhibited are things they found on the beach in more than 70 years. Some of the things exhibited are: parts of airplanes, anchors, etc. They also have a small lighthouse that comes from Rottum.

There also is an photoexhibition about the coastguard. And an exhibition on technique with tractors, agricultural machines, etc.

Its not very big so it will not take a whole day to see everything (I think max 2 hours, if I remember correctly).
