Schiessentümpel im Müllerthal is a three cascade waterfall located in the so-called "Luxembourger Schweiz" (little switzerland) because this landscape in the small country of luxembourg resembles a bit of switzerland withouth the high mountains of the alps.

the cascades can be reached by following a trail from the carpark around 1km straight hike or through the rugged hilly terrain that both follows the fließgewässer (sorry dont know the exact english translation - maybe "fastflowing" or "water course") rivers of the Ernz Noire and Sûre(rivière).

the small cascade is very picturesque and located in a dark area surrounded by tall trees, hills and sansdstone cliffs.

it belongs to the müllerthal community of luxembourg and can be reached through the town of echternacht in the luxembourg-german border. it is free of charge - no entrance fees.

its really so hard to translate because theres no direct translation in english language. its like confluence of running streams - something like that haha

fließgewässer - well, I don't speak German, but what you describe & show here might be something like "running water" streams in English. Maybe so... Quite beautiful!

Hahaha, waterfall.
True, it is one of the top sites in the Müllertal, but in Iceland EVERY waterfall is bigger.
We have passed the Schiessentümpel while in Luxemburg for three holidays before we knew there was a waterfall under the bridge :)
But the scenery is stunning. Walking/rambling in Luxemburgischer Schweitz is lovely and the rocks and grottos are great for children
