Kevin had already gotten up and Christine (Kevin's step-mom) went to the bakery and got all sorts of breads for breakfast. We sat at the winter garden and enjoyed ouor brea…

Small town on the Swiss/German border, and would probably have tagged it into one of the other parts but for the bit at the end.
Took just 45 minutes to get here from Zurich, and just before we got into town went past the Rheinfallen Waterfall, which had a nice looking bridge jsut above it.&nb…

I don't really have too much to say about here. :( This is where the river Rhein leaves the bodensee. It is amazingly pretty, and the water is still an amazing color (just like at Mainau). I was saddened that I could not check out schoss laufen as it is being fixed up, so I had to walk down a ton o…

It was a beautiful day so we caught the train from Zurich to Schaffhausen (near the German border). The old town centre of Schffhausen is beautiful but deserted, with beautiful old buildings painted with elaborate murals and painted statues of Swiss mercenaries scattered over the town. The train sped through Schaffhausen along the Rhein on the way to Zurich. We passed the Rheinfels (a big waterfall) super fast and I couldn't get a decent photo. So I just settled for one where we crossed the river. Someday I'll have to stop and check out the waterfalls - they loo…

Last March, my company sent me to Kruezlingen in Switzerland to work on a project for two weeks. Luckily, I got to work with a really cool Swiss guy who turned my stay into 2 weeks of Swiss tour!

Yet, it still wasn't enough. I need to go back there and ski some more and eat more chocolates. And I will. You bet, I will. :)

London, England, UK -› Brussels, Belgium -› …
After slowly freezing to death in the cuckoo making place of doom (still have no idea where I actually was), we crossed over from Germany into Switzerland, for my first proper experience of Switzerland - to the Rhinefalls at Schaffhausen.
It's sort of whereish the River Rhine begins in…
