 A reliable choice Jul 09, 2009
Obvious advantages - free Wifi, decent buffet breakfast and the fact that you can borrow a bike from them - like in any other Scandic hotel. I have to say, the bike was a wide-spread replica of a classic '40 Swedish army bicycle - which is as heavy as a BMW touring motorbike and barely has brakes! I realized that Swedes are in love with this piece of timeless design, as you can see hundreds of those in Uppsala, the city which is passioned with bicyles.
Single room turned out to be pretty basic (especially bathroom finishing) but fairly comfortable. |
