 Cheap / Clean / Close to major tourist areas - what more can u ask for? Apr 05, 2008
Getting There: There is a BUS from the airport that drops you off RIGHT in front of the hotel (since the BUS STOP IS ACTUALLY in front of it). Hence it's very easy to get there and get around the city.
Room: Cheap room. Clean and tidy. Bed is not the HOTEL luxurious kind but for 600baht on off-peak periods? pretty much a bargain. Location: Right in Khao San road which is probably one of the most TOURISTY place ever (can be a plus or not depends on you). expect to see your countrymen/university buddies in the area... i believe everybody goes there. For some bizarre reason we were up very early this morning and were down eating breakfast at 8.00am! The breakfast buffet was interesting. It included western usuals such as bacon, eggs, ham and sausages but also rice, thai dishes and sp…… Tuk tuks and traffic fumes! |

My flight from Hong Kong to Bangkok was pretty uneventful, I had enjoyed Hong Kong although my accommodation wasn't great and it was pretty expensive. I enjoyed Hong Kong's vibe and all night shopping and eating, the only thing I didn't particularly…… Touch Down In Bangkok |
