Affordable old style luxury on sea front Jul 24, 2009
The 4* Savoia & Jolanda Hotel just exudes old style class, luxury and service.
I was originally booked into the sister hotel Villa Igea just around the corner but the receptionist felt that I would enjoy more company in their bigger sister hotel being a lone traveller, I did'nt mind either way. An immaculately dressed, friendly concierge took my bags to the Savoia&Jolanda Hotel and that was the start of things to come. The room was decorated in classical Venitian style including brocade wall covering and a bed that looked like a chaise longue but was much more comfortable. Buffet breakfast included hot and cold treats with coffee served to order by refined waiters/waitresses. Just imagine your perfect stay and this hotel seems to tick all boxes. Do search around on different sites for discount prices expecially off season -you won't be disappointed  Part of the Venice 'serenissima' travel blog
