Sausalito Vacation Guide

Sausalito is a must stop if you are visiting San Francisco. Just 10 minutes north of SF, and across the Golden Gate bridge, Sausalito is a tourist city that caters to visitors everyday. There are many souvenirs shops, restaurants, cafes, and hostels. You can spend the whole day around town by renting a bicycle and just cruise around Bridgeway Blvd. Sausalito has an inconsistent weather pattern, one day it might be 60+ degrees, sunny and the next be foggy and cold, nonetheless a fun place to visit.

We could have spent forever in the Marin Headlands, going from viewpoint to viewpoint, but we wanted to get up to Napa in time to check in to the hotel and have the wine reception before dinner.  We also hoped to hit a winery first as well and beat traffic in the process, so we left the headla…
