I slept in till 10am and quickly had the breakfast the Motel provides ... simple but filling ... today we had to return because the girls have to return to school for Tuesday ... I quickly took in the last 15minutes to check my comments and smiles before shutting down my laptop ... we wanted to let the girls try the mini-putt, infortunately a staff member working in the Hotel attached to the mini-putt said, I don'y know when or if they're open, but if they are, the earlies...

After 3 days in Muskegon, I drove up the east shore of Lake Michigan expecting a beautiful view of the Lake and the little towns on the way. Unfortunately the whole drive was in rain and heavy fog so I saw nothing but the road. Located the Lodge with no problem thanks to my GPS which I love and depend on all of the time. This was supposed to be a trip to visit universities in Canada and it turned into one big gigantic road trip.

We drove from Whitefish Point and arrived in Sault Ste. Marie at around 5:00 in the evening. We stayed on the Michigan side of the locks, which has a very nice park and downtown area. After a quick rest, we headed that way in search of a great place to eat dinner. First, checked out the locks and spent some time walking around the park area.
