simple but nice kolonial style hotel Jun 10, 2009
Get the real African experience in this kolonial style hotel. It's fairly basic, definately not 5 star, and in the middle of the Gambian nightlife. but al the basics and basic luxeries are there. The staff is great and very helpfull. (becoming friends with the securityguards is always helpful against the "bumsa's")
Sarges( former Tafbel) is also the only Gambian owned hotel in the Gambia. I had a great time there. It is, like everything there, cheap. From€26 for a single room 'till €60 for a double suite with a/c
