Sardinia is an island in the Medditeranean sea that belongs to Italy. It's Italy's 2nd largest island after Sicily and it's also the 2nd island in the Medditeranean sea. It's west from Italy between Corsica and Sicily. The capital of Sardinia is Cagliari. The inhabitants on the island, over 1,5 million, speak Italian but some diaclects are spoken as well. Lots of nations have ruled Sardinia over the years. For this reason, you can still find some remains of different cultures, like in architecture. Sardinia used to live from agriculture and fischery but nowadays tourism is the most important source of income.
