Bali has always been one of the perfect destination for peeps who want to escape from lunatics life. I will not forget how incredible the feeling of cool sands between your toes, the warmth of sun touches your skin and make the perfect color of burnt. I joined a group of geologists to explore the vulcanos on Bali and Java. Between this serious work I enjoyed the beautiful country of Indonesia. First we had a group of 8 people, later on 3 girls joint us and we did the rest of the tour with 11 people. One of my last days on Java, I really felt the earth moving. It WAS a minor earthquake.

I went to Bali in 2005! We had a stopover in Kuala Lumpur and then we had our flight to Denpasar. To our 5-star hotel in Sanur named the Bali Hyatt. A very fantastic hotel! Sanur is not such a touristic town as Kuta! Next stop for us was Ubud, the most artistic place on Bali. Also very nice. Then we went to the vulcans on the middle of the island (Kintamani and Kedisan). Singaraja and Lovina to spot some dolphines, then back to Sanur for some days to relax on the beach!

What a great country:) but in 2months we saw and experienced a lot, bad and good:) but unfortunaly we didn't manage to go to Borneo and Sulawezi... its so big that archipelago:)

My friends and I were so fortunate as to visit Bali for a month in December '05. One of my most memorable trips ever. I love this island and could never think of my future without more Bali in it.

Our holiday in Bali is our most memorable holiday so far. We staid in hotel Peneeda View in Sanur. The hotel rooms were small buildings were they use to keep there rice in. The people in Bali are so nice!!! And everyone is constantly smiling. We swam with dolphins, had a ride on an elephant, and last but not least: we had a couple of site seeing trips with our private driver. (Angelo, you’re the best!)
