Apr 04, 2006I just visited this restaurant last week, and I think it was wonderful. The ambience of the restaurant was fantastic (very good date place, candle-lit and what not). We went there as a group of friends. Their speciality and only food is sandwiches, but these are very unique incredibly tasty sandwiches. I ordered the St-Urbain Corner, this sandwhich was made of Mozzarella Cheese, creame cheese, chicken, honey, nuts, and something else which I forgot. It was something I never thought would taste good but it was superb. A friend ordered Yellapa Menon, this is made with Hungarian Cheese, it was HORRIBLE, but this was not because of how it was made, but rather the dish is a very very acquired taste. The portions are huge (for a Canadian palate) and for $8CAD downright cheap! If you are in Montreal definitely stop by here and in the summer they have a TERRACE! They make wonderful milkshakes as well! I love them! |
