Santorini Brussels Reviews
A quick gyro Sep 08, 2009
I wasn't really intending to eat anything but waffles during my stay in Brussels. But I came across an area near Grand Place that had a bunch of eateries. Actually, I think the entire surrounding area of Grand Place is eateries. Maybe those places techically qualify as part of the Grand Place, but I don't really know that.
I found a little Greek place with outdoor seating called Santorini. I sat down at this place instead of various other Greek eateries because of the name. I had been to Santorini and loved that island. I judged this restaurant by its name, and fortunately it didn't backfire on me.
I wasn't overly hungry so all I ordered was a gyro. I do love my gyros. It was a gyro as typical as any other you might find. I loved it. The area can be a bit hectic, crowded, and noisy, but this time I enjoyed the atmosphere.
