Santiago, Mexico
Santiago, Mexico Reviews
Dec 29, 2007
Santiago is a small village located 30 miles north of Los Cabos's airport. It is a sweet town that provides an enjoyable respite from commercial, clubby Cabo San Lucas. When you visit, you feel like you are able to peak at authentic Mexican life.
If you want to stay overnight or get a meal, you should try the Palomar. According to the menu, Barbara Streissand once stayed there. After you grab a bite in the quiet, idyllic courtyard, you can walk around the attached gardens. Santiago offers two options for daytrippers: hiking and a zoo. The zoo may surprise visitors who expect a grand, modern display. The animals are kept in ascetic cages, and the mood is very quiet and peaceful. |
