A very beautiful travel to Guatemala, little bit of Honduras, Belize and little bit of Southern Mexico. I saw great places, enjoyed very funny activities and meeting some very nice people (You are one of them Juan Carlos!)

This has been one of my greatest trips so far, in the sense of discovering such variety of beauty and many attractions. It was a very comfortable trip, not adventurous since everything was well planned in advance. In a short week i could see most of the interesting places in Guatemala and as Belize is close by we decided just to follow the road and end up in Belize City.

The Maya-route goes from Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, Belize.

After breakfast we decided to go to Santiago Atitlan which is a small town on the other side of the lake. While waiting for a boat we were tricked into taking a boat to Panajachel since the captain claimed that the only way to take a boat to Santiago was from Panajachel. Once on the boat several of the other passengers told us that we should've take a boat to San Pedro which was in the opposite direction and that from there it was really close to Santiago.
