Santa Monica stairs

Yep! Santa Monica stairs! For those of you who's never heard of the enfamous steps in Santa Monica, here's your chance to hear about it.So called the west sider's little secret...the Santa Monica steps! This is a killer work out and great for cardio work out.It cost you zero to join because it's open to the public and it's FREE!

I've known this place for quite a while now,since i live around the area, i've been coming here on/off.It gets packed on the weekend, sometimes when you're lucky you'll see some hollywood celebrities on the site, with or without their personal trainer.To name a few, such as Queen Latifah,Jessica Simpson's former Assistant,guy from the show Scrubs etc..

There are two kinds of the stairs: Wooden and the concrete one.I suggest to try the the wooden one because it's better on your knee joint.

Stairs has at least three hundred steps up,so take it easy when you go up, you could get dizzy if you're not used to it.

If this is your first time and would like to try it, i recommend you to try just once, one up and one down, otherwise you'll be sore in the morning and may not be able to get out of bed from being sore.LOL
Make sure to hydrate your self prior to the work out,bring a bottle of water on the site because this will make you really work out and sweats and could cause you to dehydrate if you are not careful.

The most i've ever done was ten up and ten down but that was a while back so getting back in that pace will be a challenge for me.Hoping to increase my pace again.I'm ready for a killer work out!whohoo!

So i hear good reviews about food, places to eat, where to go for drinks and hang out why not write about work out right?
