Fun for All Ages at the Santa Monica Pier Jun 09, 2009

What could be more enjoyable for the young and young at heart than a carousel ride? Located on Santa Monica's famous pier, the carousel is a historic landmark and fun for all ages. After spending my high school years working in an amusement park, I enjoyed being the one on the ride for a few minutes instead of the one running it!

Easy on the budget, an adult ticket is $1.00 while kdis are $.50. There's a photo board detailing the restoration of the carousel for those interested in the history of this great attraction. Be sure to look for the lone running bunny in the herd of colorful horses.
