Great place for the price Dec 12, 2006
You can't beat the location for the price offered at this motel, especially to be in the heart of Santa Monica near the beach, SM pier, and Third Street Promenade. The rooms are basic, the staff is friendly, and there are many restaurants nearby.read entire review at TravelPost.com

After surfing the web for an available room for the same day, I booked one at Bayside Hotel, a very nice motel with ocean view, conveniently located. This was the sinequa non condition of my escape to L.A. I was planning to meet up with people I ran into at the conference, and I needed some other option in case my plans would fail.
