After about 6 weeks in the desert, I decided I had enough wind, dust and heat and traveled back to my home area of Santa Maria, CA. The ride over the mountains was uneventful and I set up in the parking lot of the Santa Maria Elks Lodge.
My time here was spent visiting old friends and enjoying great Santa Maria style barbeques. Nice to be back after 13 months on the road.

These guys are serious, with shotguns and handguns. It's kinda sad / funny. The prisoner was parapalegic, we said he had to be involved in a roll by shooting. Well it was funny earlier. So now we're all loaded up we're outta here.
