Santa Barbara Airbus Travel Reviews

This is probably the best option to get from Los Angeles International Airport to Carpinteria/Santa Barbara/Goleta and vice versa. A one-way ticket is $42 and a round trip $80, if it is purchased online. On the bus, they would cost $46 and $86. You can also get a discount depending on how many people you are traveling with.
I like it because I do not need to deal with LA traffic and I can just sit back listen to some music or take a nap. Sometimes they even take you along Pacific Coast Highway through Malibu if the 101 is getting crowded. You might get lucky and see some dolphins; you might even see some earlier on the way to Ventura.
The seats on the coaches are comfortable and there is also a restroom. The drivers have always been polite as well as helpful with the luggage. They even hand out candy at the beginning of the journey =)

Santa Barbara Airbus uses the Lower Level at LAX and stops at each terminal at designated pick-up locations. Passengers should wait for the Airbus at the center island beneath the GREEN AND SILVER markers/signs announcing "Flyaway, Buses, Long Distance Vans".

Thanks for the review! I'll probably be using the Carpinteria service sooner or later (stopping at IHOP first, of course!).

This is a very nice neighbour...
Quest says: As part of my adventure in California last summer, I had to find my way from Woodland Hills down to Newport Beach in Orange County. I thought it would be difficult, due to the fact that I didn't know HOW! I desided to call the Metro (this was early Sunday morning) and they were very helpful in t...
Swede22 says: "Safe" in terms of crime or in terms of water quality? There's no need to worry about crime at any of the beaches, though I'd be mildly cautious about walking around certain parts of Venice or Santa Monica beaches at night. If I'm not mistaken, the worst ocean water quality in town is in parts of Ma...
