Sangrias- Tapas Bar and Restaurant Knoxville Reviews
Tasty but the size of the plates could be a little bigger! Jan 22, 2010
Most restaurants in the USA have the fame of serving A LOT of food. Not this one.
Sangria's is a spanish food restaurant in downtown Knoxville. I liked the mood and the decoration, attention was appropriate even though there was quite some attendance in the restaurant.
They had good wine selections and some tasty spanish food options. I did have a problem with the size of the plates. They all were suppoused to be sized as appetizers so that you would order from different things. I know this is the "Tapas" concept, but it just didn't convince me very much. The problem is that they are priced as full entrees. So, to get full you really would need to order at least three, but you would end up paying at least 30 dlls if you did that. I think the best option would have been to order the paella.
Overall, it was good, but if you go there be ready to spend a lot of money or stay hungry!
