Sangam offers dorm and private accommodations at a reasonable cost. There is also a campsite located there. The property sits on a total of 7 acres of land.
Meals can be purchased for a nominal fee. Breakfast usually included an egg option. Lunch is Indian vegetarian. Dinner is western style food with an Indian twist; there is a veg and non-veg option at dinner.
Bed linens, towels, and blankets are provided. Hot water is not available 24 hours a day during monsoon season but water is heated twice a day for showering purposes. Toilet paper is provided. There are western and Asian style toilets available. Ceiling Fans, mosquito nets and plug in repellent are available in all of the rooms as well.
There is a place to hand wash clothes and drying racks provided in every room. There is also an outside clothes line for your convenience. Sangam has a dhobi man that come daily to collect your clothes, if you do not want to wash them yourself. He will wash, dry and iron your clothes for a fraction of what it costs you to run your own washing machine at home.
While Sangam is located in a traditional neighborhood, safety is not a concern. There are two security guards watching the premises at all times. However, it is far from Camp (City Center). A rickshaw ride from Sangam to Camp is approximately RS 60.
There is a swimming pool that you can enjoy day or night. However, there is no jumping or diving into the pool. Swimming costumes are available to borrow if you forgot your suit.
The Panaji Lounge has a TV, DVD player and games available if you just want to hang out. The Mehra Lalkaka Library houses hundreds of books for your enjoyment.
The atmosphere of Sangam is warm and cherry. It reminds you of being home – it is easy to forget that you are in India.
