I got some free tickets to the Indy 500 and when I looked at airfare I was shocked at how high it was over Memorial Day so I decided to drive. It worked out just fine though I got to see some of my old friends in Kansas City along the way.

My trip round the USA last year; my first holiday on my own...!

Not willing to ride a motorcycle for over 6,000 miles, the girls drive a car cross country. In road trip tradition the girls have taken on road names. Vee, Tess and Skip (ok, Skip lives with a road name). Be sure to check out the Guys story to see what they are doing too.

Boating is my father favorite adventure. He always want a boat. He [my father] grew up on a boat as a child by his father. Now, my dad got a boat and he got me into it. Our boat is located at Sudusky, Ohio; where the world largest Cedar Point Amusement Park, The Roller Coaster Capital of the World!

There is a nice amusement park between Cleveland and Toledo if you're in the area called King's Island. It has all sorts of thrill rides and usually has at least one of the "biggest," "fastest," or "tallest" rides in the world at any given time. This is one of my earliest travel memories as a child…
