Sandpoint is located at the northern "panhandle" of Idaho, about 30 minutes north of Couer d'Alene. Sandpoint is beautiful - surrounded by mountains and Lake Pend Oreille. There are lots of activities for the outdoor enthusiast - hiking, camping, biking, boating, fishing, skiing, and more. Sandpoint is home to Schweitzer Resort, a quaint ski resort where you can overlook the beautiful lake while you ski! Mainstreet in downtown Sandpoint is a bustling place filled with shops and restaurants. Sandpoint is also home to the original Cold Water Creek - which is now a major women's clothing store across the US.
