You can arrange to be picked up at the airport (for free) by the hotel staff. They can also take you back to the airport, on your departure.
My room was pretty basic and looked like it needed a good lick of paint and some minor repairs. It was all functional though and it was just a place to sleep, so fulfilled its purpose. There's a pool outside. There is nowhere to eat at the lodge, so you have to walk down a dirt track to the main road, where you can then get a cab into town, or try the few places on the main road. I had breakfast at the hotel, just beyond the dirt-track entrance. Its saving grace is the really helpful staff. They gave me lots of advice about travel arrangements to Ovalau, which I kind of followed - though you'll have to be the judge of that, from the blog entry.
