Sand Sea Resort Krabi

This is a great place to stay and the cheapest on this beach. Offseason $65 US a night including breakfast. 2 people to a room (little seperate chalet rooms with air and private bath) clean and comfortable (except for the bed...hard as a rock...but in traveling around asia this is a very common thing even in the best of hotels)

This is a beach (railay beach) that you can only get to by long boat...(a quick 15 min ride) You must wade to the boat and climb in and then at destination you climb out and wade in....(it is not as bad as it sounds).
Our family stayed 4 days here (2 adults age 40 and 2 children age 14 and 12). We did not do much as we have been to Thailand before and just wanted to chill out. The beaches are not the most beautiful I have ever seen with the sand more tan than white...but the area is absolutely fantastic.....cliffs and islands palm trees etc....just beautiful......there are plenty of places to eat on the beach and prices were very good....I would recomend the coffee shop for better selection...quite yummy and they serve adult drinks as the hotel does not. kyaking, caves and tours to many locations available.. The staff was very helpful and spoke a good amount of english..all in all it was a fabulously relaxing time...just what we were looking for.
