Sand Beach Vacation Guide
Sand Beach is a popular stop along Park Loop Road in Acadia National Park. It is one of the only places in the park where the beach is primarily sand as opposed to rock. They have restrooms and changing stalls adjacent to the parking lot, then you walk down a flight of steps to the beach itself. There are hiking trails as well, and you can swim here... although, the water is usually a bit chilly!
