How nice is San Telmo!
The streets, the people, the shops, it's so... how do I say it... it's so Buenos Aires! People dancing tango in the streets, people selling stuff and food, lots of paintings and music. Absolutely reccomended! |

Go to San telmo for the antique market on a sunday, it gets crazy so get there early. Its filled with street artists, stalls, bands and food. Its a great place to go in the evening aswell, with great bars and restaurants.

Had our first real day of sightseeing today, so wandered over to the San Telmo district to visit the famous markets and stalls. Sunday is very lively in San Telmo, with the street of Defensa lined for blocks with stalls of handcrafts, antiques, second hand goods etc.. Lots of leather goods, of course, but also a lot of cheap… San Telmo |

Confrident now on the bus i asked which number took me to San Telmo, it was no93 so i waited and headed here next, San Telmo is the home of Tango culture you can normally see dancers in the squares surrounding the parks, but i wasnt so lucky. I did pass through little cobble streets full of antique… Palermo.. |
